The flowers of rose hips are single and not very pretty, but the rose hips¬†(the ‘berries’) they produce start off orange and turn a bright red come fall. They are a great berry to use and can even be used when they are green.

Striped Toga is an ornamental eggplant, but the shape of this fruit is oval with a green stripe on it. The fruit starts out green and then turns to orange as it ages. It’s a lot of fun to use.
