Just as the name implies, the fruit of this element is small, orange, pumpkin-shaped and runs along a stem. It is actually an ornamental eggplant but it cannot be eaten.

Redbud is the Oklahoma State tree. It has reddish/purple blooms, while the Whitebud has white blooms.  The blooming branches look fabulous in large arrangements.

The flowers of rose hips are single and not very pretty, but the rose hips (the ‘berries’) they produce start off orange and turn a bright red come fall. They are a great berry to use and can even be used when they are green.
